Your privacy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be handled when you visit or use PixelKit and its online image tools.
1. Image Processing
PixelKit's main image conversion, compression, and resizing tools process selected images in your web browser. These tools are designed to process those images on your device rather than upload them to a PixelKit image-processing server.
The Background Remover is a separate browser-based tool. When you use it, the page may download a processing library and AI model files from third-party hosting services. The image is processed in your browser using that tool. Your browser must connect to those services to retrieve the required files, and those providers may process technical connection information as part of delivering them.
Processing behavior can depend on the tool, browser, and device. Please keep your original image and avoid using the tools with sensitive images if you are not comfortable with browser-based processing or third-party file delivery.
2. Information You Provide
You do not need to create an account to use PixelKit's basic image tools. If you email us, we will receive the information included in your message, such as your email address and the contents of your enquiry. We use that information to respond and handle your request.
Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal information in support messages.
3. Hosting and Technical Information
PixelKit is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you access the website, Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request information, and security or diagnostic logs to deliver, maintain, and protect the service. The exact information and retention periods are governed by the relevant provider's policies and settings.
4. Analytics and Cookies
PixelKit uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general website usage and improve the site. The Google Analytics tag may collect information such as pages visited, interactions, approximate location derived from network information, device and browser details, and online identifiers. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies, depending on browser and service settings.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also use Google's available controls for Google Analytics. Blocking cookies or analytics scripts may affect measurement but should not prevent the core image tools from operating.
For more information about how Google handles data, review Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Services
Some PixelKit features rely on third-party resources, such as analytics services and the files needed by the Background Remover. When your browser requests these resources, the relevant providers may receive technical information as described in their own privacy policies. PixelKit does not control the privacy practices of third-party providers.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to keep the website available and secure. However, no website, internet connection, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Children's Privacy
PixelKit is a general-purpose image utility website and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can review the request.
8. Your Choices
You can choose not to use PixelKit, adjust cookie settings in your browser, or contact us with questions about information you have sent by email. Some technical information may still be processed by hosting or security providers when a website is accessed.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when PixelKit's features, services, or practices change. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
